About
MadFish Solutions has spent years building BigCommerce stores for firearms retailers — and watching those retailers run the counter on software that still looks and behaves like it’s 2009, that can’t talk to the website without a middleman, and that treats compliance as a module someone else wrote. Iron Register is our answer, and it sits in a family of products that share one login, one design language and one idea — the store you already run should be the center of the business, not a bolt-on.

The family
Range booking, waivers and floor operations for shooting ranges — embedded in the BigCommerce storefront.
The point of sale built for gun stores: register, bound book, 4473s, transfers, receiving and purchase orders, with deep BigCommerce integration; Flxpoint coming soon.
The same register for any independent store on BigCommerce — candles, gifts, boutique, hardware, hobby — with serial and lot numbers and none of the compliance layer.
Web development for firearms retail. BigCommerce storefronts designed, built and run by MadFish, with Flxpoint distributor feeds and Armory Tools wired in from day one.
The gun.deals connection, AI product categorization, and AI-powered firearm SEO — built for how people actually search for guns, and for the ad-platform restrictions the rest of retail never deals with.
The store is the catalog. Distributor feeds stay exactly where they are (a Flxpoint connector is coming soon). We add the counter and the compliance around it.
The bound book and 4473 workflow are ours, in the same codebase as the sale — not a third-party module with its own login and its own idea of a serial number.
Every record belongs to one dealer and is scoped to that dealer in the database — nothing is pooled or shared between shops. Enterprise dealers get a dedicated environment with their own database and keys.
If a new hire needs a manual to ring a sale, the software is wrong. Every screen is designed for the counter first.
We’re a small team and we answer our own email.
